Job Description
Are you a mechanical fitter in the automotive world, spending more time underneath vehicles than interacting with customers?

Imagine stepping into an Automotive Technician role where every day brings something new, and you’re front and centre with clients.

This isn't your typical automotive job. As an Automotive Technician, you'll be improving existing products and fitting them to new, bespoke vehicles.

Each project is unique, so your grasp of engineering within the automotive sector will be put to the test. You’ll handle prototype test fitting, sign off final approvals, and bridge the gap between engineering and customer services, helping to resolve any fitting issues that crop up.

You'll need to be comfortable chatting with customers, understanding their needs both over the phone and face-to-face. There’s travel involved (not constantly!), and there's a company vehicle when you need it. The current chap has been up in Scotland one week and then closer to home in Telford the next….so a bit of adventure’s on the cards.

You’ll be hands-on, fitting products that meet client specs. If tweaks are needed, it’s up to you to flag them with engineering or sign off when it’s spot on.

As Automotive Technician you can get your hands on a top-of-the-range 3D scanner which will help to help streamline things.

Working hours are flexible – 40 hours to be worked between 8:00 and 5:30, fitting around both your needs and the business's.

Salary-wise, you’re looking at £30-35k, plus opportunities for personal growth and training.

So, if you’ve been in the automotive industry, or even working at a local garage getting your hands dirty and fancy a change, reach out, or find me on LinkedIn.

Marshall Harmony engages exclusively with our customers, so you won’t be approached by any third party for this role.
